Are you accepting new clients?

I am accepting new clients virtually. Please schedule a free discovery call to chat further on if this service would be a good fit for you.

Where do we meet?

I am meeting with clients virtually through a HIPAA compliant platform called Healthie.

What is your cancellation policy?

Time that is allotted is reserved for you. I require a 24-hour cancellation notice. Appointments cancelled within less than 24 hours will incur a full session charge. I recognize that sometimes you may not be able to make your scheduled session, so as long as you give advance notice of 24 hours – you will not be charged.

Appointments are allotted a 10-minute grace period to allow for communication of any lateness, emergency, etc. After 10-minutes from the start of session, should there be no communication, I will consider the appointment a no show and you will incur a full session charge.

Do you only see clients based in Illinois?

No! I practice virtually and am able to see clients in the following states: AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, NV, NH, OK, OR, SC, TX, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

How much do sessions cost?

Initial intake session is 75 minutes and costs $220.

Follow-up sessions are 55 minutes and cost $155.

Do you work with people with eating disorders?

This is dependent on where you are at in your recovery process. If you are in stable condition, I recommend setting up a Discovery Call to determine if we are good a fit.

What payments do you accept?

I accept all major credits card and HSA/FSA. Clients are invoiced directly through Healthie Portal.

A current credit card is required to have on file at all times.

Do you accept health insurance?

I do not accept health insurance. I am happy to provide you with a Superbill (itemized list of services) that you can submit to your provider for reimbursement. I recommend you reach out to your provider directly to find out your coverage on nutrition counseling.

What do we discuss in session?

Sessions are dependent entirely on you and where you’re needing support. There is a combination of CBT, experiential therapy, nutrition education. Clients leave each session with a recommendation of small behavior changes to focus on.

Can we communicate between sessions?

I recognize that certain circumstances require additional time to talk through your progress or child’s progress. Phone calls less than 15 minutes will be at no cost. If a call should go longer than 15 minutes, there will be charges based on my hourly rate.

Messaging through the Healthie Portal is encouraged for any concerns not addressed during sessions.
